Footballer Marcus Rashford has started a campaign to end child food poverty and called for an extension of free school meals for children across the country over the half term.

A motion from Labour to provide children in England with food vouchers during the school holidays until next Easter was voted against by Government on Wednesday evening last week. Since then, thousands of businesses and restaurants have rallied round Marcus Rashford in support of his movement, providing free meals to children over the holidays.
