We went to The Scene’s reopening and here’s what it’s like now
The stripper pole will forever be in our hearts
The Scene reopened it’s doors on the 18th much to the delight to the students of Lincoln and in true Tab fashion we went to see how much and what has changed since they closed their doors back in March. It seems sit in clubs and bars is the new trend of 2020 as both Home and Trebles have followed a similar method by introducing table service and more seating areas.
The new additions in place include table service through The Scene’s round app, a one-way system, and hand sanitiser readily available throughout the venue.
Tables are now numbered to allow for table service
Customers must remain 1m apart to allow for social distancing
You will be asked to fill out a Track and Trace form
The stripper pole has been sacrificed all in the name of safety
Hand sanitiser is available throughout the venue
Bar service is also still available with perspex screens and face masks being worn by staff
Booths are available but no more than 6 people are allowed in 1 group
Seating is available both outside and inside
There may be some differences in the near future as we’re still in a pandemic but it’s something we’ve got to get used to. Stay safe, stay social but at a distance.
