Shaun and Milky from This Is England are DJing at Propaganda this Saturday

This Is Lincoln

Stars of the Shaun Meadows creation This Is England will be DJing at Propaganda this weekend.

Also known as Thomas Turgoose and Andrew Shim when they’re not on set, this is the first time both actors will have DJ’d together in Lincoln. It’s not the first time Thomas has rocked the Engine Shed, however, as he did a set back in October.

It’s no surprise that Thomas has returned to the uni though, as Lincolnshire was the county he grew up in, born and raised down the road in Grimsby.

Students are already getting excited to see what the actors might be playing. Second year Computer Science student Jarrad has his fingers crossed he’ll be hearing plenty of the Happy Mondays and The Stone Roses.

“I’m looking forward to seeing the characters from the show. I really hope they play a bit of the This Is England 90s soundtrack as well as bands like The Stone Roses and the Happy Mondays.”

“I would really like it if they played some old-school Acid House from the late 80s and early 90s. They’ll probably play some Indie music and maybe some chart stuff.”

Second year Politics student Isaac is looking forward to seeing the two perform and hopes his favourite character from the show, Woody, will come to Lincoln soon as well.

“I’m excited to see them, I would love to meet them in person, especially dude who plays Woody”

With the last series of the show taking place in 1990, propaganda attendees may well be in for a night straight out of the 90s. Smiley face t-shirts and Tye-Dye is advised.

Tickets are available now for £4 on the Propaganda website.
