Teenager pleads guilty to drug offences after death of Lincoln fresher

A teenaged man was charged today with drug offences in connection with the death of a Lincoln student. 

19-year-old Luke Green of Grantham Street, Lincoln, appeared in Crown Court and admitted to being concerned in the supply of drugs between October 18 and December 17, 2014.

He also pleaded guilty of being in possession of drug MDMA on December 16.

The teen was granted bail by Judge John Pini QC in order to prepare for a probation report.

As The Tab previously reported, 19-year-old Ashley Hughes, from Gatley, sadly died on December 17th 2014 after a drug overdose.

He was found ill in Danesgate House before being taken to the Lincoln County hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Two other men have been accused of drug offences.

No charges were put to locals 19-year-old Reis Bilal or 21-year-old Hayden Watson, and they were both granted bail to a later date.
