Leicester students study the least in the UK

What is this place you call the library?

Leicester students are the worst in the country for dedicating time to studying.

According to new data released by the Natwest Student Living Index 2016, Leicester students spend 24.32 hours per month studying, with Liverpool spending marginally longer (27.8 hours) and Leeds second worst, spending only 26.49 hours per month studying.

The average student dedicates 30.77 hours to the library each month with Cambridge students spending the most time studying with 47.62 hours, followed by Oxford in second place with 40.49 hours.

Spending time studying is fair enough, £9k a year is a lot of money to spend on education without actually doing any studying. But your university days are supposed to be some of the best of your life, spending all your time with your head buried in books isn’t a tale to tell the grandkids.
