Leeds’ most eligible bachelor 2017: Round three

Doin’ it for the boooooys

| UPDATED

The competition's really hotting up now. Vote to save your fave.

Austin Robertshaw, second year, Geography

Image may contain: Person, People, Human, Sphere, Ball

Austin is the social sec of rugby, a big name in Charles Morris, plays rugby for Hong Kong, and apparently does well with girls (although if that's true then why is on here?).

When he heard about his nomination, Austin said: "According to Urban Dictionary a Bachelor is “an unmarried man; single, most of the time the ultimate player, a womans dream man. A flirt on almost every occasion.

"I would definitely describe myself as the ultimate player, both on the rugby pitch and on the dance floor. My friends call me a “slut”. Every morning I’m greeted with 5 simple words: ‘Austin you slut, you alright?’

"I definitely am the woman’s dream; pink shirt & blue tie’s social sec. A questionable dad bod goes a long way in the ever changing market of girls.

I don’t even know if I’m single, girls seem to fall for me instantly and as is the case with most bachelors, it inevitably causes a fair few problems. If you’re a girl at Uni of (deffo not Beckett) I’ve probably tried to flirt with you by buying an ice VK, and yes, it’s probably worked".

Rob Leyland, first year, Business

Rob "loves birds" and is a massive heartthrob. I mean, look at that grin. 100% heartthrob.

When told of his nomination, Rob said that he's "a lifelong bachelor, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't settle down with the right woman".

Ben Marrow, second year, History

According to his friends, Ben is known as "two pump Ben". What more needs to be said.

When Ben heard about his nomination, he said: "I’m so happy to be nominated. Tab, I ask you kindly, find this bachelor a bachelorette to share my world with". We'll do our best, Ben.

Ollie Chadwick, fourth year, Zoology

Ollie's a man who can apparently handle his beer, and by that I mean he's "guaranteed to make it past two carlsberg". Great. He's a fun loving zoologist who's always up for a good time – when he manages to get out of bed – and living in an all girl's house, he's "kept up-to-date with all the good shows so you'll have someone to watch MiC with every week". What a catch.

Zac Harvey-Wright, third year, Theatre and Performance

Image may contain: Female, Dance Pose, Dance, Performer, Musical, Music, Leisure Activities, Person, People, Human

According to his nomination, Zac's "been around the block" but he's definitely "looking for love". His heart is "bigger than the bulge in his skinny jeans" (you can take that however you want to ladies), and he just wants "someone to share his world with".

When he heard about his nomination, Zac said: "I’d like to thank my mother and father for passing on their genes over to me, I’d also like to thank Hussain’s Hairdressers for ensuring that my fade is always dank. I’d also like to thank Leeds Tab for giving me this opportunity. I’m looking for love, I’m single, and boy am I ready to mingle. Sort me out Tab.

"P.S find me a really pretty girlfriend please". We'll try Zac.

Jack Folland, second year, Medicinal Chemistry

Image may contain: Person, People, Human

According to his mates, Jack should win most eligible bachelor because of "that accent". They don't specify what accent, but apparently it's good I guess?

When he heard about his nomination, Jack said: "Hon the boys". Which makes about as much sense as "that accent" tbh.

Rhun Gwilym, second year, Music, Multimedia and Electronics

Image may contain: Person, People, Human

Rhun should be your most eligible bachelor because he's "sexy and Welsh". Good combination.

When he heard about his nomination, Rhun said: "It's a privilege to be nominated for such a prestigious award. Thanks for the ongoing support from @boroladsinleeds".
