Leeds University has been crowned the second best uni for night life in the UK
This is not a surprise to anyone
Stephanie BennettAccording to a study compiled by University Compare’s student social experience rankings, Leeds University came second in the rankings for uni nightlife. Leeds achieved a rating of 4.68 out of 5, after Newcastle at 4.76 and Nottingham Trent came third at 4.64.
The study crystalises the North as better than the South; seven of the top ten are northern.
The University of Liverpool was fourth at 4.63, Leeds Beckett fifth at 4.62, Liverpool John Moores University sixth at 4.58 and the University of Sheffield came seventh at 4.56.
Northumbria University was 8th, Cardiff University 9th and the University of Glasgow 10th.
Leeds Trinity was way down the list in 39th place at 4.12.
The rankings were based on statistics from nearly 10,000 current and recently graduated students across 425 universities over the last 12 months.
