Can you really blame us?

Leeds students spend more money on a night out than almost any other students at university. This probably comes as a surprise to no one. Everyone knows Leeds has some of the best nightlife in the country and when the drinks are cheap you can’t help but buy another round of jägerbombs at Fruity.

Natwest’s 2017 Student Living Index, taken from a survey of 3,407 students across the UK found that students at Leeds spend an average of £32.10 a month on going out to the city’s array of clubs and pubs, way above the national average of £25.10.

The only students at university that spend more than Leeds is Birmingham at £33.40. Durham was the cheapest at £18.20 a month, but Durham has the worst nightclub in Europe so what do you expect?
