All the best boozy bottomless brunches in Leeds you can go enjoy now that exams are finally over

Breakfast is just a sad, prosecco-less brunch

If there is one thing Leeds does well, it is bottomless brunches. What started off as a select few venues offering these prosecco-filled morning spots to the thirsty people of Leeds has turned into a trend spread across the whole city.

From birthdays, dates, and showcasing Leeds, these free flowing brunches are a mandatory booking if you are in Leeds on a weekend.

Bar Soba
Time: 2 hours
Price: £25

One of the original brunch spots, Bar Soba is also one of the few to offer a full two hours of free flowing prosecco. For £25pp, you get a selection of Asian inspired starters for the table, and a main each, plus unlimited prosecco, mojitos, and apple mojitos.

Drinks are limited to one at a time, but if you sweet-talk the staff they’ll happily fill up your glass before it reaches empty. Personally, I’d say the chicken katsu is to die for, but the pad Thai is also a great choice.

The deal runs from 12 – 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays, so is perfect for day drinking or even an early start to a night sesh.

Shear’s Yard
Time: 90 minutes
Price: £25

Another long timer, Shear’s Yard’s bottomless brunch runs between 11am  – 2.30pm on Saturdays only, and is limited to 90 minutes a pop. The drinks menu here is a little more varied; prosecco, cask ale, draught beer and a choice of cocktails are all an option, although once again it is just one drink at a time.

The food here is brunch with a twist, so a take on Eggs Benedict, sausage and bean, cheese toasties and more – each made with seasonal ingredients and a certain finesse.

Black Swan
Time: 90 minutes
Price: £25

A newer edition to the brunch club, Black Swan will be serving up their brunch between 12pm – 2pm. Drinks included are Yorkshire beer, Bloody Marys and prosecco, while the food is brunch-but-better; think chorizo scrambled egg, sourdough with smashed avocado,  and rump steak with egg.

Manahatta
Time: 90 minutes
Price: £22.95

Manahatta’s bottomless brunch can only be found at the Merrion Street venue, available both Saturday and Sunday from 11am – 3pm. The menu has both sweet and savoury options, including banoffee inspired pancakes and baked Mexican eggs.

For £5, you can upgrade to more elite food options; think steak and eggs, crispy friend chicken and a black bean and Sriracha burger.

Oracle
Time: 2 hours
Price: £20

Oracle’s brunch is the most value-for-money brunch option in Leeds, offering up two hours of bubbles for just £20. It runs both Saturday and Sunday between 12 – 2pm, and the food comes from ‘The Kitchen’, home to pop up Street Vendors with the menu changing every 2 – 4 weeks. At the moment, it’s Italian themed Bocca, so pizzas and pasta all the way. If you’re more of a small plate person, swap two starters for the main.

The Lost & Found
Time: 2 hours
Price: Varies

The Lost & Found brunch offering operates different to the rest; buy a starter and main (individually priced) and pay an extra £15 for the unlimited prosecco, Bellini and mimosas.

A little more pricey than other brunch choices, but the extensive menu option more than makes up; salmon and avocado, rum steak, garlic mushrooms and brown butter pancakes are just some of the ingredients to grace this menu.

The Pit
Time: 90 minutes
Price: £20

Running from 12 – 3pm Saturday and Sunday, The Pit offers up more of a bottomless lunch; pulled pork enchiladas, Mac n Cheese and other Tex Mex dishes are on the standard menu, or for £5 you can upgrade your choice to ‘ultimate’ burgers, Mexican dishes and more. Prosecco, Coors and Bloody Marys are all unlimited, albeit by the usual one drink at a time rule.
