Stephanie BennettNorman the fish has been crowned the next big pet on campus after Harry the pug. However, Norman isn’t just a normal fish, he’s special and a survivor.
His owner regaled us with Norman’s amazing tale: ‘Norman joined an unnamed sports society on a recent trip to Croatia. After being smuggled through eight borders and swimming in a small bag filled with his own shit for thirty hours as we couldn’t change his water, we finally got to Croatia. He came with us everywhere and enjoyed four long boozy days and was even released into the hotel pool for half an hour.’

‘After making it home on the return journey he now lives in our house in Hyde park somehow having survived the trip and what we suspect was a serious amount of chlorine poisoning.’
