Alexandra WrightThey say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, but Tinder’s decided to conduct it’s own study about who’s really at the hottest unis in the UK. The dating app has published a list of the UK’s “hottest” universities, based on a how many times male and female students were given right swipes at Russell Group universities.
The same study was conducted in for US universities in 2015, where Ivy League colleges were the clear winners. In the UK, however, the older, more prestigious school were overshadowed by red-brick unis like Sheffield and, of course, Leeds.
Coming in at 3rd for universities with the most right-swiped men, and 2nd for most right-swiped women, the study confirmed what Leeds students knew all along: we are hot. We succeeded in beating Liverpool, Edinburgh, and Manchester, just another thing proving that Leeds is definitely better than Manchester.
