Leeds ranked in the top 100 unis in the world

We were ranked 15th best place to study Geography


Leeds University has been ranked the 93rd best University in the world by the QS World University Rankings. 

Released annually, the QS World Rankings rate Universities according to research, teaching, employability and how well Universities attract students and teachers from overseas.

Leeds was given an overall score of 64.2. It was recognised as being the 15th best place to study for Geography, and in the Top 100 for Arts and Humanities subjects.

There was a rise in the number of international staff and students leading to higher rankings of 193 and 155 respectively.

This year, 940 Universities from across the world were included in the QS World University Rankings.

In last year’s rankings, Leeds came joint 87th with South Korea’s POSTECH with a score of 72.0.
