Leeds Uni rises up seven places in Guardian Uni Rankings

Beckett are five from the bottom

In the latest Guardian league tables, The University of Leeds is ranked the 16th best uni in the UK.

This is a move up of seven places since last year where we were ranked 23rd. This means we beat out Yorkshire rivals York as well as our edgy rivals of  Manchester, Newcastle and Bristol.

Leeds Beckett were ranked 114th, beating only five other Universities to stay away from the bottom spot although this is a move up of two spaces from last year.

Universities were judged on factors such as course, teaching and feedback satisfaction as well as the spend per student, and of course graduate prospects. We ranked fairly well in these areas where we came 8th for course satisfaction.

Leeds also topped the charts in the two subject areas, which were Accounting and Finance and Agriculture, Forestry and Food. So if you want a job in the City or on a farm you can be confident that you went to the best Uni for that job.
