Second year to shave off all her hair for charity

The hair will be used to make wigs for children with cancer

A second year Management and Marketing student has decided to shave her hair for charity.

Elle Upshall will donate the hair to the Little Princess trust, while the money raised from sponsorship will be given to mental health charity Rethink Mental Illness.

Elle said:”The Little Princess Trust who create wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer. This way I can physically change a child’s life by putting it to good use.”

Elle explained from personal experiences how heartbreaking it can be to see an individual cope with mental illness.

She explained: “Rethink Mental Illness campaign tirelessly to improve treatment, fight stigma and ultimately change lives with very little support from society.

“My main inspiration is to promote the charity and to let people know how important it is.”
