Leeds gets classier by the day
Duncan ClaberThe former site of the Black Diamond Gentlemen’s Club is set to become a cocktail bar and fine dining restaurant.
However the new owner isn’t too hasty to shake off its raunchy past, as new name “Vice and Virtue” pays tribute to its history as well as its future.
The restaurant will be located on New Briggate, opposite Belgrave Music Hall.

Only offering a small menu of ten cocktails including homemade ingredients such as dandelion honey and pistachio milk, it doesn’t look like it will be a cheap night out.
Talking to the Yorkshire Evening Post, owner Luke Downing said: “We will be surrounded by absolutely amazing places but there is no fine dining around there.”
Although we can agree that Leeds is amazing, he’s obviously never had a late night Dixy Chicken.
Vice and Virtue is due to open its bar on the 28th November, with the restaurant opening in March.
