Leeds University ranked 12th best in the UK

Joseph WhiteLeeds has been ranked as the 12th best uni in the UK by USNews.
The impressive position was decided in the American site’s 2015/16 rankings, in which we also nabbed 121st in the world.
We’re on the up
We also achieved a ranking of fifth best in the world for the university’s contributions to academia in books, especially in the fields of Sociology and other humanities.
The University also creeps into the top 50 in Europe, earning a highly respectable 42nd place.
The rankings were based on the research performance of each university, as well as ratings from “members of the academic community.”
