David CowlishawOver the Easter break we received your nominations for the University of Leeds’ 2015 Big Name on Campus. Now it’s time to vote.
The power is in your hands to change the life of one Leeds legend.
There will be four groups of four, starting with today’s all-rugby lad quartet. The candidate with the most votes in each group will go through to the final.
Alex Patrick
Third year Alex received a very short write-up. At the end of the day though, he’s a rugby player and is “known across campus”, what more could you possibly want? He was nominated by Tommy Pritchard.
Louis Timpany
A real contender, Louis is rugby club captain and appeared in his third Varsity this year, scoring a try. More importantly though, ladies’ man Louis starred in a video on first date etiquette and even has his own parody Twitter account (@PooeyLouisTimps). He was nominated by Jake Buckland.
Jake Buckland
Already known to friends as “BNOC Bucky”, Jake is famous for apparently buying 210 VK’s in Fruity on his 21st – ten for every year of his life. He’s Club treasurer, Leeds Adidas ambassador and confirmed hunk. He was nominated by his first date etiquette video co-star, Louis Timpany.
Tommy Pritchard
Fourth year Tommy is a big dog in both rugby and cricket clubs, and is said to have “clocked more hours in the Terrace or Old Bar than any other current student”. He was nominated by Alex Patrick.
