Police investigate four reports of sexual violence in one week in Hyde Park

Multiple students have been sexually assaulted in Hyde Park this week.

Police are searching for two men suspected of serial sexual molestation in connection with four incidents.

Attackers grabbed and groped passing women as they walked through the park.

A spokesperson for West Yorkshire police said: “The suspect for two of the incidents was described as a white man with long brown hair who was wearing a multi-coloured beanie hat.”

They added: “In one of the two other incidents the suspect was described as black, with a thin face and short braided hair.”

Detective Inspector of Leeds District CID said: “Police are not linking the incidents.”

“Officers from the local neighbourhood policing team are increasing their patrols in the areas where the incidents have occurred.”
