House and techno lovers must get their gurn on elsewhere as award winning club shuts down

The venue, which picked up the best small club in the UK award last year will shut down immediately.
In an announcement on their Facebook page, a Garage spokesperson said: “No one is strictly to blame. Rather the current landlord has decided he does not want to extend to the tenancy.”
“We are already looking for a new venue and have in fact found one. We hope to be up and running by Christmas, taking with us the best bits from The Garage whilst adding a few elements we had already decided were essential.”
“All promotions have said they will stay with the club, including Back To Basics, Beatstreet, Bigger Than Barry, SetOneTwenty and Nest.”
