Vibe announces multiple events in lead up to Grand Opening

The nightclub plans to host a number of events before its official opening this Saturday

Vibe Nightclub has confirmed it will be hosting its first event on Thursday 27th October, following the announcement of their delayed Grand Opening event.

Lancaster University Indian Society confirmed on its Instagram that Vibe will be hosting Bollynights’ Diwali Fest event on Thursday, as well as a Halloween Latin Party on Friday. Both of these events will be held ahead of Vibe’s offical Grand Opening event on Saturday 29th October.

Vibe confirmed to The Lancaster Tab that it “will be open on Thursday (student only)” and Friday as well as Saturday for its Grand Opening.

In collaboration with Lancaster University Indian Society, Diwali Fest promises Bollywood and Bhangra bangers, with discounted entry to LUIS members. This student-only event will be the first time Vibe opens its doors after being advised to postpone opening by local authorities due to “events beyond our control.”

The events referenced include multiple incidents of vandalism including cars being driven into the club’s doors on two occasions last week. A man has since been arrested and released on bail in relation to the vandalism.

Vibe confirmed on its Instagram that it will be open for Friday’s Latin Party Halloween Event.

Friday night’s Halloween Latin Party will be the first opening for non-students.

Partnering with LatinPartyUK, DJs Avi & Yayo (Spain) will be in the main room playing “Reggaeton, International Hits, R’n’B, Hip-Hop, EDM and House”.

The Grand Opening has been rescheduled from last Saturday to this Saturday, with tickets being carried over or given the opportunity for a refund. This Halloween special event has now sold out, although Vibe will be open for a Skint Mondays Halloween Special on the 31st of October.
