Here are Lancs petrol stations ranked from most to least expensive
The cheapest petrol is 152.7p
Petrol prices can be a game-changer for those students lucky enough to have brought their cars with them to university. They don’t have to endure the crowded buses after classes, the pain of getting the 100 and going round the houses (literally), and the opportunity to smugly offer lifts to the rest of us not so lucky folk.
Petrol prices have rocketed this week, following the UK’s move to follow the US in banning the import of Russian oil. The RAC data shows that the average price for unleaded in the UK stands at 158.20p per litre, with diesel at 165.24p. Superunleaded has soared to 169.93p per litre. Lancs Live has collated all of the petrol prices for Lancashire, and here are the cheapest and most expensive petrol stations in Lancaster – so you know where to avoid this weekend!
