Jess CowieIt’s theoretically possible to complete a degree without caffeine, but is it realistic? The Costa in Alex Square is always heaving, and that’s probably because most students need a coffee fix to get them through the day. It’s also the perfect spot to study if you like some noise and bustle to surround you whilst you work.
Of course, Costa doesn’t just do coffee: they’re infamous for their hot chocolates, their fruit coolers are very refreshing in the summer and their Frostinos are cream-based coffee heaven. They have seasonal drinks at Christmas and in the summer, not to mention their cakes, their sandwiches that you could drain your entire student loan on… the list is endless.
