BBC Radio 4’s The 3rd Degree quiz show comes to Lancaster University
The quiz show will be visiting Lancaster University on Wednesday March 9th
Karis QuinlanThe 3rd Degree is a general knowledge and specialist subject quiz in which a team of three undergraduates compete against a team of three university academics, and it’s coming to Lancaster March 9th.
The quiz show will be hosted by comedian and writer Steve Punt.
An email sent out by Lancaster University said: “The aim is to present an intellectually fulfilling and informative quiz”.
The format of the quiz will include “team questions, quickfire bell-and-buzzer rounds and individual questions”.
The academics team consists of Cyrille Rollet, from the languages department, Dr Michael Greaney, an English Literature lecture, and Dr Helen Bruce, a marketing lecturer.
Students are encouraged to watch the quiz and cheer on both teams.
The quiz will be held in George Fox Lecture Theatre One.
The doors will open from 17:40 with the show starting at 18:00 and ending at 19:30.
