Lancaster Uni is ten spaces above York in The Times Good University Guide 2021

We have dropped down two positions since last year

The Times Good University Guide 2021 has revealed its league tables for the top unis in the UK, placing Lancaster university in tenth place on the leader board. Ten spaces below, University of York is ranked 20th, satisfying our rivalry. However, in the Complete University Guide, Lancaster is 14 spaces ahead of York.

In a post shared by Lancaster University, they said: “We’ve been ranked top 10 again in @thetimes Good University Guide 2021! We’re now in the top 10 of all three major UK university rankings for the year ahead”.

Unfortunately, Lancaster has dropped down by two place since last year, the University of Bath and University College London overtaking our sweet spot in eight place. However, we are still positioned above universities such as Bristol, Exeter and Glasgow.

Lancaster holds an impressive 81.9% for graduate prospects in high skilled jobs or further graduate study and 77.8% for student experience, evident from the “2020 national student survey student experience”. Overall Lancaster remains in a strong position as one of the top 10 unis in the UK.
