These are the Lancs pubs confirmed to be opening tomorrow

It’s been a long time coming. What even is Lancaster without open pubs? Whether you’re looking for a classy one in Tipple, a mad one in Mint or a traditional one in the White Cross, Lancaster has you covered on the 4th July. Don’t panic if your favourite doesn’t feature, Study Rooms we’re looking at you, many of Lancaster’s classic venues are waiting a little longer before they open doors.

The Royal Hotel & Bar

“We are opening on Saturday 12 midday to midnight, Sunday 12 midday until nine. All social distancing measures in place. Entrance will be through the front door when customers will be shown to a table either inside or outside, they will then be offered table service throughout their stay. We have hand sanitizers in place inside and outside and we will be operating a one way system with exit will be through the rear side door and entrance through the front door. The toilets will operated one person at a time. Customers will need to give us their contact details on entry which will be stored in a safe location online. Where two families are drinking/dining together inside, we will need of proof of ID and address as per government guide lines.”

The Borough

“We are delighted to announce that we will be opening our door again for food, drink and rooms on Saturday 4th July at 10 am. Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this very difficult time by food or wine deliveries or by buying gift vouchers. We are very grateful, now is the time to enjoy spending them!”

Mint

“It’s been too long Lancaster! We have been working around the clock to make Mint as safe as possible for our first night back. Public safety is our main concern, so please ensure you read and follow our new house rules to make your first night back as safe and enjoyable as possible.”

The White Cross Pub

“We are delighted to confirm that The White Cross will be opening as planned this Saturday, July 4th at midday.

“We have made quite a few changes to keep our customers and staff safe, many of which you will be familiar with from visits to the shops over the last few weeks. One of the changes particular to pubs is that it will be offering table service only. We have also removed a few tables to make sure we are all safely distanced. As such we would recommend you reserve online to make sure you get a table.”

Kanteena

“Legends we won’t be making any food until Saturday when we reopen our doors at 9 am as we are busy preparing for the new ‘norm’! Food service times are adjusted whilst we find our feet this weekend.”

The Sun Hotel & Bar

“First kitchen delivery since March and it’s got us excited for serving food 12-8 pm from Saturday 4th July. Our kitchen service times will be slightly different to normal at the moment. We look forward to welcoming you soon!”

Generation

“Oh how we’ve missed you! But we know that things will be very different when you return! Bookings can now be taken over Facebook messenger, we are asking for groups no bigger than six, however larger groups we can try fit you as close together as possible”

Horse and Farrier

“Beer lines cleaned, beer tested, roll on tomorrow. We open at 12 noon guys!”

The Cornerhouse Lancaster

“We will be open from 12 noon on Saturday 4th. We are so excited to be opening again but obviously things will be slightly different and there are guidelines and policies which need to respected and followed by ourselves and our customers. We have reduced our capacity to allow for 1.5 meters between tables and arranged furniture to allow back to back seating arrangements and introduced plastic screens between tables that fall between 1 m and 1.5 m reducing the risk of infection.

“Introduced six hand sanitising station in key areas. Invested heavily in staff training and awareness. Table service only no standing room will be provided. widened walkways in a one way floor system. Increased outdoor seating space. We will be taking customer contact details upon arrival on the chance we may need to provide details to track and trace. We are fortunate to have a large building with good airflow, multiple entry/exit points and very few congestion points.”

The Penny Bank

“Just to let all our customers know, we will be opening at 11 am this Saturday morning (July 4th), please can we ask you to be patient with us. There will obviously be new rules and guidelines to follow to ensure the health and safety of not only you the customers but also the staff.”

Stonewell Tap

“We are delighted to confirm that the Stonewell Tap will be opening as planned this Saturday, July 4th at midday. We have made quite a few changes to keep our customers and staff safe, many of which you will be famiar with from visits to shops over the last few weeks.”

Water Witch

“We are reopening on Sat 4th, from 11 am. We have got a few new procedures in place to ensure the well being of our staff and customers. We have spaced furniture out to recommended distances, we are going to be introducing the prepay app for food and drink orders, table service as well, no customers standing, no service at the bar, we will have a one way system in place, huge outside area available, bookings being taken and is strongly advised to book, we are also going to have a takeaway food and draught beer option available, reduced menu and product range, reduced staffing to allow for distancing, we have five sanitiser stations across the customer areas to allow customers to keep sanitising.

“We have completed covid 19 risk assessments, including online training, we are also having a covid 19 assessment and certification done on Friday prior to opening. We are also going to be keeping a record of customers names and contact numbers to allow for any future tracing.  We will be cleaning and sanitising all regular touch points every 30 mins.”

Cappuvino
