Sultans to close indefinitely TOMORROW due to coronavirus

See you soon, my friends

Sultans has announced that they will be closing their restaurant on campus indefinitely from tomorrow due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement given to The Lancaster Tab, they said: “It is with a heavy heart that the management of Sultans have had to take the decision of temporarily closing the store until further notice.

“This is not a decision we are taking lightly, but one made with the well-being and safety of our lovely customer and our hard-working employees [in mind].”

The closure comes alongside many of the other food outlets on campus following the same decision, including Costa Coffee, Greggs and Subway.

One student said, “How could coronavirus take Sultans? I thought they would be there for me until the end of time. I hope they consider keeping their delivery option, at least just on campus. As a solid part of my self-care and support network, I’m needing Sultans now more than ever.”

And, because they know just how much they mean to the Lancaster student population, Sultans added: “For those students still living on campus, please feel free to contract us on Instagram/Snapchat and we’ll try and help in whatever way we can. Stay home, stay safe!”

“SEE YOU SOON MY FRIENDS!”
