Someone has just proposed on floor C of the library
WITH A CHOIR
The sound of wedding bells echoed through Lancaster Library’s hallowed halls earlier today as a graduate of the university proposed to his now fiancé on the C Floor of Lancaster Library.
A video was uploaded to the Overheard at Lancaster Facebook page 10 minutes ago depicting a man bending the knee as a choir sprang into chorus.
She accepted the proposal to the applause of library-goers.
The couple are thought to be called Alice and Connor, although this is unconfirmed.
Matty Allen commented on the video on the Overheard at Lancaster page, saying: “Floor C as well, I sneezed there and got five noise complaints”.
Rachel added: “Literally the dream! All of her sharking paid off right on C floor…”
