The helicopter on campus landed due to a crash on the A6
It was labelled as ‘severe’
A car accident has brought out an air ambulance which landed on campus.
It has been rated as “severe” according to the BBC Lancashire Traffic web page. The A6 Preston Road is currently closed.
The incident involved two vehicles. Two helicopters landed while a third hovered around.
A yellow helicopter went down the the pitch
The helicopter landed at the Astro Turf Pitch near Lonsdale College.
Ambulance and ambulance service staff were found near the pitch
More details will follow as we receive them, but for now we don’t believe any students are involved.
