King’s lands in the top 30 universities in The Sunday Times Good University Guide 2018
And yes, we’re behind UCL but that must be a mix up…
To start fresher's week off with a bang: King's has just been ranked in the top 30 best national universities by The Sunday Times Good University Guide. To make it even better, we've been ranked 4th in the regional rankings of Greater London, joint with Royal Holloway.
Comparing to our rivals, we may be regionally (and nationally) behind UCL, but our gradate prospects are 2% higher, standing proudly at 84.1%. This shows our students move onto brighter futures much more effectively than UCL students.
King's students can also give themselves a pat on the back for not dropping out in the middle of that exam they flunked as our degree completion rate stands at 93.6%.
After the last academic year of campaigning, King's College, SOAS and UCL can be proud to see that they do not have NSS rankings from the national student survey on student experience and teaching experience. This comes after King's was omitted from the NSS student satisfaction list in August.
But next year we'll do better – after all, there's a UCL we need to beat off the prestigious second place.
