Stop what you’re doing, a gin festival is coming to London this August bank holiday weekend
I’ll drink to that
Gin Festival, the ultimate event for any gin-lover, is touring around the UK and will be stopping off at London this August.
The festival will be at Tobacco Dock between 25-27th August over the bank holiday weekend.
Husband and wife, Jym and Marie, created the festival after being disappointed from ‘gin bar’ tasting sessions they had previously attended.
On their website, they said: “We first dreamt up Gin Festival back in 2012; we love gin but every tasting session we attended and ‘gin bar’ we visited, left us disappointed – we wanted more! More interesting gins, more exciting gins, more knowledge and the right garnishes.
“With that in mind, we started Gin Festival! Bringing in the best juniper-based spirits, the perfect serve and a wealth of (g)information, we found a whole host of fellow gin lover’s to share it all out and the events you know and love were born!”
The Gin Festival will be stopping at 17 locations round the UK.
Gin lovers can chose between attending an afternoon or evening drinking session. Tickets cost £14.
