What is the biggest turn off in a relationship?

‘Her face’

Cinemas are overflowing with lovestruck teens on first dates – so we headed down to one to ask about the L-word.

We went to the local Cineworld to ask 12 film fans what would make them skip straight to the credits – and got some interesting answers.

Victoria, 22, laboratory administrator and Rico, 28, retail banker

“When he thinks he knows everything.”

“A lack of confidence.”

Melissa, 19, pianist and Serena, 19, visual merchandising student

“Personally, I don’t like smoking. I don’t want to kiss an ashtray. I also hate ignorance and general nastiness, they’ve got to be open minded.”

“Horrible personality and bad breath.”

Lauren, 29, and Becky, 22, Starbucks baristas

“When I tell my partner something and then he asks me the same thing later. Oh, and when he doesn’t look properly.”

“If they stink.”

Danielle, 31, works at a stables

“I had a bad relationship. I hate it when your partner blames you for an argument they started.”

Lily, 21, sales assistant and Jamie, 28, engineer

“Arrogance.”

“Her face. Yeah, and when someone is up their own arse.”

Miguel, 24, cargo operator

“A lack of communication.”

Andy, 23, Abercrombie and Fitch model and Ian, 19, unemployed

“It depends on the situation. If, for example I was on a first date at a restaurant and my date had weird eating habits like dribbling or chewing with her mouth open that would put me off.”

“Girls that don’t look after themselves.”
