Assignment deadlines extended by THREE DAYS following Holborn blaze

THERE IS A GOD

| UPDATED

Following the apocalyptic scenes of last week’s Holborn fire, KCL students were greeted with news this afternoon that all assignment deadlines have been extended for seventy two hours.

In an email, the university announced that all assignments due for submission between today (Thursday, April 9) and Saturday, May 2 do not need to be submitted for an extra three days.

‘I can be your hero baby’

The extension is to compensate for the lack of facilities students have been subjected to over the past week, which included the closure of the Strand Campus’ Maughan Library.

History and War Studies third year Yamir Ash is ecstatic at the news.

Speaking to The Tab, he said: “Frankly I’m overjoyed that I can delay starting my dissertation by a further 3 days, especially considering I haven’t been in the library so far this year.”

Amira Arasteh, who is currently working on her English Language and Communication diss, added, “A fire in London never brought such good news!.

“Hallelujah!”
