Photos of London that will make you glad Winter is over

Did someone say “Spring Fever”? If you’re just not really feeling it, and would choose mulled wine over Pimm’s any day, then maybe you just need a little encouragement to get into the swing of things…

Spring has finally sprung! For those of you who are still mourning the end of the the festive season: missing the warm embrace of your Christmas jumper, craving a gingerbread latte and maybe even still holding out for snow, perhaps let go of that dream for now… Spring has its perks too, you know!

Studying and tanning at the same time? Now that’s what I call multitasking.

To start with, the Terrace looks a lot more inviting these days.

These pedestrians look far too laid back to be Londoners…

Also, the long voyage between the Strand and the Maughan is considerably less treacherous when your face is in no danger of being frozen off.

…ditto

I mean, the Strand looks positively Mediterranean now!

I swear the last time I looked, there was an ice rink here…

Fair enough, if you were intending to go ice-skating, it looks like you missed the boat…

Spring = BABY ANIMALS

…but these guys are glad the sun’s out.

Believe it or not, this is actually England.

There are genuinely palm trees in Queen’s Park. Enough said.

A tourist’s dream.

All in all, a blue sky kind of suits you, London. Keep it up please!
