Two women have been charged for vile racist rant

They will appear before magistrates next month

Two woman have been charged for the racist rant at a Liverpool bouncer that took place on Mother’s Day.

The conflict was filmed by the bouncer, who is believed to work for Rubber Soul on Mathew Street, and uploaded to the victim’s Facebook. He has since received a lot of support, and the video has been widely circulated.

The video begins with the bouncer saying: “Tara girls, goodnight…chumps. See you later, see you later beak head” – a Liverpool phrase for someone who uses cocaine.

One enraged woman then shouts the bouncer is an “ISIS man”.

The abuse is then continued by her friend who shouts: “Move you little n*****. You little fat hairy n*****. You fucking black bastard,” along with other explicit comments.

Merseyside Police have now charged Carly Katherine Williams, 21, from Anfield, following the incident, last Sunday. Williams was questioned on suspicion of racially aggravated public offence order. She is due to appear before magistrates in Liverpool this April.

A spokeswoman for the Merseyside Police has said: “We can confirm a second person has been charged, following the posting of a video on social media earlier this week.”

Elaine Hughes, 40, from Kirkdale, who was also charged with a racially aggravated public order offence. She too will appear before the magistrates next month.
