Lanky DJ Basshunter had the time of his life in Brooklyn Mixer after a group of guys invited him out with them.

The Now You’re Gone singer was spotted in Bierkeller having a solitary pint, when about 20 boys went over and starting drinking with him to cheer him up.

Basshunter, real name Jonas Altberg, bought them all Jägerbombs and then headed to Seel Street hotspot Brooklyn Mixer, where pictures suggest he was absolutely battered.

Later that evening…

Toby Rossiter, first year Sports Development, saw the Swedish star in Bierkeller on Monday April 27.

He told The Tab: “He was just on his own having a pint in Bierkeller. There was football on, but it wasn’t a massive game.

“My mate saw one or two people getting pictures with him. That’s when I realised it was Basshunter.

“Soon after, a group of about 20 boys invited him to their table where he bought them all Jägerbombs.”

Loving life

I realise my love for you was strong

Trying to attract as little attention as possible, the singer made his way downstairs in Brooklyn with his new found mates, one of which he was trying to wingman.

Rachael Bailey, a Criminology and Psychology student, said: “I was the first person to recognise him, so we were dancing together for a while.

“The photographer spotted him and told me, but no one believed it was him at first.

“He seemed quite cool. He called me tasty, we were both quite drunk though, so it was quite an entertaining encounter.”

As The Tab has previously reported, the DJ has been partying round the clock, as he was caught in Lancaster just a couple of weeks ago.

The Scandinavian hunk told students “it’s important to always be a nice person but a little mental too” as he went up to do his set.
