You can now buy wine to binge on at the Odeon

Ever thought a few drinks might help you enjoy a film more? Well your prayers have been answered, as the Odeon is now selling wine for you to enjoy.

The Liverpool ONE cinema – evidently the hottest new location for predrinks – has added to their exquisite popcorn and pick and mix range by serving up alcohol.

The bottles are plastic because drunk people drop shit, but it’s not just wine they’re dishing out: they have a beer and nachos offer too.

Costing no more than a bottle does at your local at around £9, and with student discount on ticket prices, it’s hard to see a downside.

There’s also the added bonus of being able to turn the film into a drinking game.

And if you usually just predrink at home you’ll know the agonizing pain of cleaning up when you’re hanging the next day – but with the cinema you just get up leave, and if anyone chunders in the loo, it’s not your problem.

The staff are friendly and don’t judge you for buying your third bottle.

They may, however, judge you for drunk flirting and for thinking a joke about “2D being enough for a good night” was ever a good idea.

Though word of warning: you may want to sit towards the back to avoid the judgemental looks from boring, functional adults.

The only downside is you may have to pay to watch the film again if your evening turns into a blur.

Seriously, it’d be silly not to give it a go.
