Tinchy Stryder and Nick Grimshaw are going to headline the Hull ball

The line-up for the End of Year Ball on the 4th of June has been announced.

Tickets are on sale for £39, which is cheaper than last year. Here the line up:

Sanctuary:

Speak-easy theme, fitting in with the 1920s Great Gatsby theme, described as “Chicago, Al-Capone atmosphere”.

Main building of the Union:

Whisky bar, the first time that a whisky bar will be featured at the end of year ball

Small Marquee:

Fire-breathers and performers and  flare cocktail bar

Car park:

Fun-fair – the same fun-fair that has been present at end of year balls for the past few years.

Asylum:

Tinchy Stryder – not in the initial line-up but the Union received an e-mail today confirming his appearance.

North Base – drum and base three-piece from Manchester.

Nick Grimshaw – Radio 1 morning presenter producer and DJ

Big Marquee: 

Jazz Band – same that’s performed for the last few years

Kelvin – four-piece indie rock band from Glasgow

Seafret – local two-piece band
