Woman sexually attacked in Hull city centre
It’s the second attack in two months
A 21-year-old woman has been sexually assaulted as she walked past the Nail Fairy shop in Hull city centre.
The assault happened on Bond Street as the woman was walking towards Baker Street yesterday.
The attacker inappropriately touched her, but she managed to flee the scene. Police detectives have made an appeal for any witnesses to the attack, which happened between 12.15 and 1am yesterday morning.

Humberside police have said: “A 21-year-old woman was walking along Bond Street towards Baker Street when she was approached by an unknown man close to Nail Fairy shop.
“The man allegedly inappropriately touched her by putting his hands inside her clothing. She pushed the man away and left the area.
“She was not hurt in the incident.”

Worryingly, this is the second incident of a sexual assault in two months in the local area. On January the 29th, a woman was allegedly assaulted on the number 10 bus.
The suspect was thought to be in Horners Pub in Anlaby Road earlier in the evening, boarded the same bus as the female. Police have described the suspect as around 58 years old and six foot tall.
Humberside Police have said: “Enquiries remain ongoing and some further information has come to light following an appeal.
“Those lines of enquiry are being pursued but no arrests have been made at present.”
