Do you think Donald Trump is really electable?

Donald Trump has now gone from joke candidate to dead-cert Republican nominee. Super Tuesday has given his campaign even more momentum. Yes, his campaigning tactics are extremely controversial – from threatening to build a wall to keep out immigrants, squaring up to the Pope and mocking a disabled reporter. Indeed, his rise to the top of the American political pyramid of power is almost as confusing as his hair.

I’m more comfortable with Trump than most. It’s great to see a G.O.P. candidate who isn’t associated with the religious right, and he’s far less conservative on most issues than Ted Cruz, who would be a disaster. Plus should he win the nomination it’ll help the democratic candidate massively.
