Tom Hounslow, a second-year Politics student, and Sam Love, who studies Maths, want to use their experience to help Hull University students with romantic advice, housemate issues and even how to deal with the pressures of university.

Sam told The Tab: “I’m going to be a wonderful agony uncle, frankly because I was born to be. I’ve watched my father, Adrian Love, a legend in the agony uncle world, give superb advice to hundreds of people across most of Norfolk.

“He’s always instilled in me an understanding that even though MY life may be perfect, it’s still my duty to help less fortunate souls. With great wisdom, comes great responsibility.”

Tom added: “As a person who simply refuses to deal with any issues in my own life, I find it surprisingly easy to advise others with their woes. So trust in me with your issues because I can’t make it worse.”
