Hull Lecturer was bullied by a Law grad sending threatening emails
He said ‘I would love to throw you on your head and break your glasses’
A Law grad has been conducting abusive emails to a Law lecturer after holding a grudge.
The Lecturer, Christian Twigg-Flesner, had previously bumped into the grad, Luke Harker, 26, in a uni corridor three years before.
The e-mails sent to Twigg-Flesner said: “I would love to throw you on your head and break your glasses” and called the professor a “greedy negroid Jew”.
Harker sent the e-mails between August and October last year.
He pleaded guilty to racially aggravated assault without violence. He also has a 2014 conviction for harassing a female student.

The Bump Corridor: a corridor at the university where the accident took place.
The defendant is from Seamer near Scarborough and was caught sending the e-mails from his university account. The bump happened during his time at Hull University, where he was described as boastful of his intellect and linguistic skills.
Outside Scarborough Magistrates Court, Mr. Twigg-Flesner said: “Initially I thought it was a hoax. I am on Warfarin and any blow to the head could be potentially fatal. The very least I would like is an explanation and an apology face-to-face.”
The court was told that the defendant felt disillusioned after failing to kickstart his career in Law.

The bump happened when Harker was a Law student at Hull University
Harker’s future career in his chosen field of Law has now effectively ended due to this second conviction. He had held the grudge for this accidental bump for years because he felt that it was done on purpose.
His solicitor, Robert Vining said: “He’s told me that he’s sorry”.
Harker was given an 18 week prison sentence that has been suspended by two years.
He must complete 150 hours of community service and has been fined £365 for compensation and judicial costs. He also has a retraining order preventing him from contacting Mr. Twigg-Flesner for 10 years. Harker will also not be allowed access to the university campus.
