Glasgow second-years owned Halloween with group Tennent’s costume

A homage to Scotland’s favourite pint

If you thought you were creative on Halloween, think again.

A group of genius second-years at Glasgow Uni dressed up as Scotland’s favourite pint, Tennent’s lager. They made the costume from Primark laundry baskets and the whole procedure took about two hours.

Creative

The flatmates then headed to Flat 0/1 before going to a house party, and said they received “the best reaction a laundry basket has ever had”.

One of the creative group, Emma, said they decided to go as the Scottish lager as they’ve “never tasted a finer nector”.

Loving it

Their endeavours went down a treat with the local male populace as they received a number of catcalls. Emma said: “Clearly it was a guys’ dream to have a girl dressed as everyone’s favourite beer.”

Feeling thirsty?

Tennent’s is an incredibly popular lager in Scotland and famously sponsors the festival T in the Park.

It seems like drink-related costumes have been popular this Halloween as this Glasgow third-year went as a can of Dragon Soop.

It’s perhaps a refreshing change from the multiple Donald Trumps and Harley Quinns.
