In the recent EU referendum, the majority of Glasgow City wanted to stay.

66.59 per cent of the population who voted were remain, while only 33.41 voted leave.

Glasgow was the 23rd city with the highest population of people voting to remain, coming just behind Tower Hamlets and Stirling.

The most pro-EU place in the entire country wasn’t actually in the country, with 95 per cent of Gibraltar voting to Remain in the EU.
