BNOC of the Year nominees: Round one

Your first batch of the biggest names in the West End

You lot have given us a nice bunch of popular princes and princesses for you and your peers to chose from and we’ve compiled a little description of each nominee to help the choice go down a bit smoother.

Without further ado, your first round of BNOC of the year nominations.

Callum Holland

This chap goes by many names, including ‘Shagger Holland’, and ‘Segnor Craic’.

But to everyone who’s anyone, he’s known as ‘The Big Cheese’.

No girl is safe from his charm. No pint is safe from his mouth. He’s the Secretary of the Rugby Club, he’s the team leader of the Freshers Helpers, he’s the man we can all only dream of being.

James Pulham

James Pulham (Men’s Waterpolo Captain) has been one of the most visible and engaging personalities around campus this year.

James Pulham (Men’s Waterpolo Captain), was a GUSA freshers helper, where he made a name for name for himself for having great original top chat and being a #legend.

James Pulham (Men’s Waterpolo Captain) is often found in the beer bar, Viper and in the podium in Hive #HIVE.

James Pulham (Men’s Waterpolo Captain), is the Captain of the Men’s Waterpolo team, where he lead them bravely to 2nd in the league (a league which they have won for the last 3 years).

Shannon Donovan

Often referred to as Shannon “Don’t stop me now”, as when this girl locks eyes with a man in the club, it’s a done deal.

At only her second year of uni, she has proven her BNOC status by being elected the CAPTAIN of the Glasgow Swimming team.

She is currently the Swimming families wife of last year’s outgoing BNOC David Guthrie. If that’s not a power couple worthy of Bradgelina status, who is!?

Patrick Ba-Tin

This skite lord always turns up to his nine ams swaying. On a field trip he successfully managed to get a bunch of selfies with his lecturer and even scrapped an A.

He’s only missed one night in Hive but went bigger and better the next week by hosting the St Patrick’s day ceilidh

Caitlin Kelly

A.K.A GUSA Prez

This gal had a pint in her hand when most of us were still in nappies, was playing hockey before it became a BNOC club and getting banned from the GUU before it became cool.
Caitlin can be found in Viper and Hive every Wednesday and Thursday night and still makes it into the GUSA office to ‘work’ by midday (most of the time).
She is the girl everyone wants to be, chinning pints, playing sport and getting paid to do so. This is her time to get the achievement she has been after her whole university career.
