The Times has called Finnieston the ‘hippest’ place to live in the UK

We’ll take it

The Times has composed a list of the “hippest places to live in Britain” and Glasgow’s Finnieston was featured at the top of the list.

Finnieston beat London’s Blackhorse Road to the top, as well as Dundee, which claimed ninth place.

In the past, the area housed warehouses and dock lands but now boasts some of Glasgow’s coolest places to eat and drink, with bars such as Rioja and the Kelvingrove Cafe proving popular with locals and tourists alike.

Not to mention SWG3, home of the Electric Frog music festival.
