We got beat by Liverpool in University Challenge

It was brutal

BBC Two’s University Challenge is a prestigious competition.

It’s the trophy brainiacs accross the country covet.

It’s a shame that people of average intellect couldn’t give a shit.

This is Glasgow, though, we will probably never win. In fact we never have, which is embarrassing because Dundee have.

And last night we lost to Liverpool. Oh, the shame.

Their buildings are almost as rank as the Boyd Orr.

In the first round of University Challenge 2014-15 we smashed Bath 190 – 120. But nobody really cares when we win.

But they do care when we get beat by a university based in a city with the only accent worse than Glasgow.

We’ve now been knocked out, and that’s so worth writing about – because we love to be self-depreciating.

I can’t think of anything worse.

Liverpool beat us by 65 points. How embarassing.

Our team; Gillan, McGuire, Hill and White, barely managed to break the 100 point milestone in an embarrassing display of Glaswegian intellect – you probably would have done better.

Read all these books. You could lose to Liverpool too.

It’s okay though, because we are one place above them in the University rankings.

We’ll take it!

Stick that in your pipe and smoke it you Scouse twats.
