It’s official: Glasgow’s nightlife is better

As if you needed told

A recent survey rates the three Glasgow unis in the top 15 for student nightlife.

But we already knew Glasgow was great.

Smilin’ coz we love glasgow

The Which? poll is based on surveys of more than 12,000 undergraduates. It rates UK universities on areas including the political scene, nightlife and creative activities.

And Glasgow Uni, Strathclyde and Glasgow Caledonian all made the top 15.

Do you need another reason to come to Glasgow?

Other unis that made it were: Manchester, Newcastle, Liverpool John Moores, Northumbria, Bristol, Leeds, Liverpool, Sussex, Leeds Beckett and Nottingham Trent.

So with three in the top 15, you can easily see we are the best.

Glasgow Uni scored well across the board. Glasgow, along with Leeds, UCL and Edinburgh were all rated well in all areas, especially in their extra curricular scene.

Glasgow uni should probably win on prettiness too.

Jenni Allen, a spokesperson for Which? University, said to the Scotsman: “With tuition fees now averaging nearly £9,000 a year, it’s important that prospective students do their homework, find out everything they need to know about different universities, and weigh up all the options before deciding where they want to study.
