This library ain’t big enough for the both of us

Uni offering ‘quiet spaces’ to tackle lack of space

This morning the SRC sent out an email offering students the chance to study in one of their “spaces for quite work”.

Why? Because the library is frequently at full capacity.

Have you ever wandered aimlessly from floor to floor looking for a computer that hasn’t had possessions dumped in front of it whilst someone goes for their two hour lunch break.

Maybe you’ve been left livid by the sight of somebody using their laptop in front of a computer that isn’t even logged on.

Has the University let in too many students?

Well, they’re now tackling it by opening up “spaces for quite work and spaces for group/discussion work.”

Just in time for exams – well done.
