Glasgow Cali student smashes selfie world record

So that’s what they do over there

An image-conscious Caledonian student has scored the Guinness World Record for the number of selfies snapped in sixty minutes.

The Vice-President at Cali’s Student Association managed a staggering 657 selfies in an hour with his pal.

Lee Goodfellow and his friend easily conquered the previous record of 421.

The idea came from a group of professional support services during discussions about Freshers’ Week activities.

The Guiness World Records presented Lee with a certificate for his supreme thumb-tapping skills.

But that’s not all. Lee is also the world champ of haggis-eating three times over.

He won the title in 2011, 2012 and 2013 at the Birnham Highland Games.

His fastest time clocked in at just 77 seconds to chow down one pound of the national dish.

He told the BBC: “I just try to eat as much as I can quickly, but I also avoid the beer that is provided by sponsors.

“If you drink the beer, it leaves you gassy and fills you up.

“I am not aware of any other world haggis eating championships held anywhere else, so I think that makes me the undisputed champion.”
