Ditch your morning coffee for a sausage roll

The rumours have been circulating about possible replacements in the Forum for months. Now it has been confirmed: crowd favourite Greggs will take over Pret's prized location next to the Market Place, thanks to popular demand.

Looks like a popular suggestion

The University has reported an increase in complaints directed at Pret, known by its nickname in place of its real name Pret-a-Manger because who can be bothered, naming the company as the sole reason for Exeter students entering their overdrafts.

Therefore, as a result of many ExeHonestly posts calling for Pret's replacement with Greggs, an official vote was called by Vice Chancellor Sir Steve Smith in order to see this change take place.

We are aware this the Pret in town

Greggs was voted as the food chain to replace Exeter's previously-cherished Pret because of popularity, but most importantly due to its apparently more student-friendly prices.

However, with Greggs menu stretching much farther than the meagre collection of Pret sandwiches and wraps, there is a selection of food for every meal of the day (or night.) Also, Greggs' recent addition of the Vegan sausage roll means no one has to miss out! There really will be something for everyone on campus, meat-lovers to vegans alike.

So get ready to say hello to the new food place on campus! On the upside, if you do really miss Pret (don't know who would), just go ahead and make the trek into town.

Well done if you reached the end – HAPPY APRIL FOOL'S!
